BI/Azure User Group Event with Paul Stubbs |

On December 8, 2011. Xelleration hosted a new and improved BI user group at their Irvine Office with guest speaker Paul Stubbs from Microsoft. Paul’s presentation revolved around Windows Azure and Building Hybrid Applications with Service Bus. He discussed the 4 main topics covered around Service Bus, which are Connectivity, Messaging, Service Management and Integration. Microsoft's 9th Annual World Partner Conference in Downtown Los Angeles |

From July 10-14 Xelleration attended Microsoft's 9th Annual Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) in Downtown Los Angeles. This event consist of 92 Countries and 15000 partners, who gathered together to listen to some of Microsoft top executives such as, Steve Ballmer, Jon Roskill and Kevin Turner talk about their visions for the company. During the conference, Xelleration got to connect with different partners from all over the world, to hear about their successions in their companies, as well as, talk about possible collaborations. In addition, Xelleration attended several key notes and breakout sessions to learn about how to expand and improve business. WPC was an amazing event for Xelleration and we look forward to the upcoming event in Toronto.

Xelleration hosts their First event on Azure |

On June 8th, Xelleration hosted a lunch and learn Azure event at the Microsoft Office. During the presentation Xelleration presented a real life example of a widely used company application that was migrated to Azure specifically to discuss during the presentation. Attendees were able to gain insight on the challenges as well as the benefits of migrating to Azure. Attendees included Executives, IT-Directors and Presidents, whom all had a similar interest in moving their database to an Azure platform. Some beneficial aspects of Azure included rapid development, a reliable environment, and a more strategic focus on business rather than maintenance. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend this event.

Xelleration wins Microsoft Best Practice Award FY2011 |

Xelleration is pleased to announce that it has won the Microsoft “Best Practice Award” for “FY2011” for enabling Microsoft technologies in new and innovative ways for its clients. Xelleration devised and developed a BI solution for one of its clients that provided online and on demand reporting of equipment inventory and maintenance status information within graphical and visual diagrams and layouts. These diagrams were published to a SharePoint 2010 portal and rendered using SharePoint Visio Graphic Services.
The applications main objective was to achieve cost efficiencies through faster turnaround for equipment fixes, with fewer headcounts and without manual oversight involved. The future iterations of this system would allow more visibility into vital site equipment inventory and associated maintenance status, allowing for additional insight for more effective decision-making with regard to the equipment management process at this client.
Xelleration LLC, is a Microsoft Certified GOLD partner with Gold Competencies in SharePoint Portals and Collaboration and also Microsoft Business Intelligence. | Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan's premier educational institute, organized a Mega Career fair on January 30th, 2010. Prominent organizations from across the country participated in the event. This was a unique opportunity for leading employers to come into contact with top students in various disciplines. Xelleration Pakistan also participated in this daylong event where its representatives had the chance to talk to several students about the company, its business and how a career at Xelleration would be great opportunity for them. Many students showed interest in us as a prospective employer and our corporate presentation generated a lot of interest as well as submitted resumes. We were extremely pleased with the event and feel it will go a long way in creating a good brand name for Xelleration especially when it comes to attracting top talent. |

Xelleration Wins Microsoft's Customer Satisfaction Award for 2010 |

Irvine, CA - Xelleration has won the Microsoft "Customer Satisfaction Award" for 2010. This is the 4th year in a row that Xelleration has been awarded by Microsoft. This is extraordinary that the same partner has won this award 4 years in a row in North America.
The award was based on the LA Fitness project which has been a huge success. Please see customer quote as follows:
An important part of our membership enrollment experience is providing a tour of our facilities because we believe the high quality of our clubs speak for themselves. We desired to create a similar virtual experience in order to reach more people. We believed the capabilities of Silverlight provided the best platform to do this online. Since Xelleration is a trusted partner who has always delivered quality work under fair terms, we went to them to turn this idea into reality even though we both would be early adopters. And they delivered. The project involved learning and applying Microsoft Silverlight, integrating multimedia, graphics, animations, and interactivity into a single runtime environment. Xelleration also had to perform green screening video shoots in a studio and then effectively combine the video and the background in a Silverlight shell.
The end result is a very comprehensive, interactive, and first of its kind virtual tour using Silverlight. No other competitor has anything like it. We have been pleased with the results of the completed project because we believe that it provides a superior experience for people seeking online to learn more about the LA Fitness clubs. We know that many people have experienced the virtual tour and have joined as a member after completing the tour. The membership enrollment experience, in these cases, appears to be a more comfortable one for both the new members and our sales people. This Silverlight project with Xelleration has caused us to develop new ideas for applying the technology and we expect we will be applying Silverlight in more creative ways to enhance the user experience at LAFitness.com and at the clubs. Orange County’s top business and community leaders “Teed off” against child abuse at the Child Abuse Prevention Center’s Charity Golf Classic on Monday, August 17, at the El Niguel Country Club in Laguna Niguel. This 8th annual tournament made great strides in the fight against child abuse by raising more than $40,000 for the Prevention Center’s in-home child abuse prevention, parenting education and mental health programs.

LA Fitness Silverlight Virtual Tour is now Live! |

Irvine CA, Xelleration created a Virtual Tour for LA Fitness; which is a concierge like walkthrough of a typical LA Fitness Club. It was developed in Silverlight requiring a green screening method of videography, which involves a green screen studio. The video shoot of the model was against a green background, then it was edited in a video software, to remove the background and replace it with either a static or an option to superimpose the person in an interactive background in motion. Once the videos are completed, they are then imported and placed into a Silverlight shell. The end result is a fully simulated Silverlight Virtual Tour that gives the user a feel of an actual LA Fitness Club with an online experience of it. Microsoft is using this as a showcase project.

New Orleans, LA - July 2009: Xelleration LLC, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, participated in the annual Microsoft World Partner Conference which was held this year in New Orleans LA. The Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) provided Xelleration with a chance to learn more about business growth opportunities and product innovations from Microsoft executives for the new 2009-2010 Fiscal Year. It also offered Xelleration a unique chance to expand its business potential by connecting with thousands of other Microsoft Partners from around the world.
Mohammad (Mo) Khan said this conference gave Xelleration an excellent opportunity to not only meet with other Microsoft Partners and Executives from around the world, but to also learn about all the new initiatives and technologies that Microsoft is planning to roll out in the new fiscal year. This was event was held at the Microsoft Office in downtown Los Angeles.
Our Keynote speaker was William L. Schoen, Microsoft's Business Productivity Advisor. The event started at 9AM and ended at 4PM. This all day event saw excellent attendance in all sessions.

Xelleration is pleased to announce that for a third year in a row, it has been awarded the Microsoft "Best Customer Satisfaction & Experience" award for 2009 by Jane Dickson, Microsoft Area General Manager for Partners at the Microsoft's Managed Partner Briefing on the April 22nd 2009 in Irvine, CA. The award was presented to Xelleration for a Sales KPI Dashboard which was developed and deployed for a customer. Xelleration also won the Global BI Contest for this solution. The solution is used to display KPI’s on a UMPC (Ultra Mobile Personal Computer) Hand Held Device with data getting updated incrementally on a scheduled basis. This data can come from any Transactional System (Dynamics, Siebel, etc.) and the KPI's are defined in a data cube. The Windows Gadget is the presentation layer of the solution.
This is a first time in the history of these partner awards that a Managed Partner has won the “Best Customer Satisfaction and Experience” award for 3 consecutive years. Xelleration, QuickStart Intelligence & Jack in the Box host the first SoCal BI User Group, in Southern California! |

Xelleration was one of primary sponsors and co-host of the first SoCal BI User Group meeting held at QuickStart Intelligence in Irvine California. Presentations were made by Arshad Masood – BI Practice Lead at Xelleration and Ali Saffarnia - Senior Systems Engineer at QuickStart Intelligence.
Xelleration also officially launched the new SoCal BI User Group website to the group. This new website is created in SharePoint and allows members to collaborate and share ideas related to BI and Workflow Automation. The Platform Test for ISV Solutions is currently intended for software solutions that run on Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003 and/or Windows XP, and leverage Microsoft Office 2003, Microsoft Office 2007, SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2005, the .NET Framework, and/or XML web services.
The Project Management Office is a SharePoint template that offers senior project managers and other management the ability to oversee all projects and manage projects from a single location. This template is designed for project teams to collaborate at a single location, for multiple projects and share documents, run reports report and work on issues, and continue to keep a track on the project's scope, budget and timeline.
